Mouse Functions
Overview
The map pane supports a number of mouse click functions listed below. Beside of the mouse click operations there are mouse drag operations available and drag and drop functions.

Drag | Break a route/track and re-connect to a third route/track: Drag the end point of a route/track and drop it at the track/route to be branched |
Middle Button

If middle mouse button is not available use ‘Menu-Options-Preferences-Mouse Buttons’ to set a replacement (recommended: SHIFT+WIN)
Right Button

Mouse Wheel
Find mouse wheel/touch pad optimization in ‘Menu-Options-Preferences-Mouse Buttons’.

Further Functions
Drag’n Drop Garmin Maps
- Drag and drop a single Garmin precompiled map file (.img) from Windows Explorer into FancyRoute in order to open the map.
Drag’n Drop Single Project File
- Drag and drop a single project file (.gpx, .ovl, etc.) from Windows Explorer into FancyRoute in order to open it.
Drag’n Drop Multiple Project Files
- Drag multiple project files from Windows Explorer into FancyRoute, hold CTRL and drop to add them to the current project.
Project Pane Header
- Header click to sort items.
- Header right-click to arrange columns.
Waypoints Pane Header
- Header click to sort items (waypoints only, not for routepoints or trackpoints).
- CTRL + header click to alternately select the minimum/maximum value of this column.
- SHIFT + header click to select all empty rows of this column.
- CTRL + SHIFT + header click to add all empty rows of this column to the current selection.
- Header right-click to arrange columns.
Switch to Other Map Type
- During command ‘Menu-Map-Navigation’ hold CTRL key pressed to retain the map center position within the new map.
Mouse Button Replacement
- ‘Menu-Options-Preferences-Mouse Buttons’ offers options to replace mouse button presses by keyboard key presses. This can be helpful using notebooks that misses the middle mouse button.
